BERLIN, November 20 (Archyde.com) – Producer prices in Germany fell at an annual rate in October in line with expectations, data published on Monday by the Federal Statistical Office showed.
These prices fell last month by 11.0% year-on-year and 0.1% month-on-month, in line with the forecasts of analysts polled by Archyde.com.
In September, producer prices in Europe’s largest economy recorded their largest annual decline (-14.2%) since data on the subject began to be compiled in 1949, raising hopes of further easing of inflationary pressures.
