A 64-year-old skier from Germany had a fatal accident in Ellmau (Kufstein district) on Friday morning. The woman fell on a red-marked slope and went over the edge of the slope. After regarding 20 meters she came to rest seriously injured in the steep, snow-free terrain, the police reported. A witness called the emergency services. Despite immediate first aid measures by the piste rescue team and emergency doctor, the victim died on the spot.
