Berlin – The German Federal Constitutional Court stopped the planned passage of the controversial heating law in the Bundestag on Friday in an urgent procedure. The highest German court in Karlsruhe announced on Wednesday that the second and third readings should not be carried out in the current session week. The CDU member of the Bundestag Thomas Heilmann had applied for a temporary order. This should prohibit the Bundestag from the final deliberation and vote on the law if the bill has not been submitted to the deputies in writing at least 14 days in advance.
