German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed his forecast regarding the outcome of the upcoming US presidential elections.
The politician expressed doubt that ex-president Donald Trump might win them. Scholz believes that current US leader Joe Biden will remain at the helm. “It is more likely that President Biden will be re-elected,” Scholz quotes TZ.
“We are carefully considering scenarios for the development of all international situations,” the German chancellor added, noting that Biden has “incredible experience in international politics” and “common sense.”
Earlier, Trump himself assessed his chances of defeating Biden in the elections as “close to 100%.”
