German biathlon relay ranks fourth again in Kontiolahti – Norway wins ahead of Sweden

The Norwegians (0 penalties+7 spare rounds) took the win in the absence of the brothers Johannes Thingnes and Tarjei Bö just ahead of Sweden (0+10/+10.6 seconds).

The German team, for which Lesser was the starting runner for the last time before retiring after the season, finished 13.4 seconds behind. After a flawless shooting performance, Lesser even handed over while in the lead. Final runner Nawrath had to admit defeat to French star Quentin Fillon Maillet in the final sprint.
