The Central Sulawesi Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Gerindra Party has appealed to all its cadres to support and win the candidate pair Ahmad HM Ali and Abdul Karim Aljufri in the provincial Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).
Gerindra DPD Chairman, Longki Djanggola said, all cadres are obliged to comply with the party’s decision which has issued a recommendation of support for Ahmad Ali and Abdul Aljufri.
“If there are still Gerindra cadres declaring support for other candidates, then it is certain that they are plastic cadres who only rely on their Membership Card (KTA),” he explained, Sunday (14/7).
According to the former governor of Central Sulawesi for two terms, Gerindra has made a clear decision in the Central Sulawesi Pilkada. “We are Ahmad Ali and Abdul Aljufri. For us in Gerindra there is no bargaining,” he said.
Longki asked that if there are Gerindra cadres who still support other candidates in the Central Sulawesi Pilkada, they should leave Gerindra.
“If they do not support our candidate, I ask them to return their Gerindra KTA, or we will dismiss them as Gerindra members,” he explained.

Longki explained that at the recent Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda), he had firmly instructed all Gerindra cadres in Central Sulawesi to support and win the Ahmad Ali – Abdul Aljufri pair in the Central Sulawesi Pilkada on November 27.
“After the Gerindra DPP issued a recommendation, we did not open candidate registration. Thus, all cadres are required to win the pair decided by the party,” he said.
Longki ensured that Gerindra cadres in all regencies and cities in Central Sulawesi are ready to support the Ahmad Ali – Abdul Aljufri pair.
“There is no rift within Gerindra, all cadres are solid, working hard to win Ahmad Ali and Abdul Aljufri,” he concluded. (Z-8)
