Gerardo Rozín died: The goodbye of Eugenia Quibel, the co-worker who became the great love of his life

Gerardo Rozin he said goodbye to Argentine television giving an emotional speech in the toast for the last program of The Rock of Morfi of 2021. ”The personal toast for the first time I keep it. Why? Because I have it good. It’s nice to have the toast right. I have it good. I love those who love me. I love the ones I love. They know it”, she began, announcing that -next- she would go“straight” to talk about work; although in his case, the personal and the professional were intimately linked.

After the sad news of Rozín’s death was known, her last great love wrote a reflection on social networks, and she did it together with a photo of the couple, smiling. “What is it to be brave? Finding out one morning about horrible news and fighting it to the end. Hold on to life and accept that one day it ends. Go through the process supported by affection, family and surrounded by friends. Receive love and let yourself be hugged. Cry, bitch, fight and think of a thousand and one alternatives. That’s what you are”, began Quibel.

Then, he continued his post with a tender list of things that he would keep forever: “Your brilliant ideas with witty exits, the generous suggestions for those who seek your opinion, your different humor, your ironies, your Rosario pride and a little Uruguayan too , the playlists of Frisell and Pizzarelli, ‘authentic pain, joy without a stain’. And each of our moments, the gastronomic discoveries (the good ones and the duds), the trips, teaming up on the radio, on TV and in life, and a list of intimate reasons that made me fall in love with you”. And he closed: “Here’s to you, scoundrel.”

In addition to The Rock of the Morfi, They did other projects together. They had known each other for several years, when they were partners on Radio Pop, but they also shared other projects, such as put it on, the program he hosted on Radio Uno.

Although neither exposed their relationship to the media, they did not hide either. In fact, the Telefe bar witnessed their love and it was there that they began to be seen more together.

Over time, they built a blended family that included Pedro and Elena, the driver’s children, and Emilia, the announcer’s daughter. “We are a normal, natural couple,” Rozín said in the last interview he gave to LA NACION, in November of last year.
