Currently, 19 CREAVES centers are approved in Wallonia to accommodate and revalidate injured wild animals. The new center in Pairi Daiza does not directly take care of wild animals entrusted by the public but rather those brought by other centers for which it serves as medical support.

“Géraldine’s Heaven” offers a hospital which takes care of injured or sick wild animals, which require surgery and detailed examinations. He also manages the nursing of young animals. It is equipped, in particular, with ultrasound, radiology, an endoscope, perfusion systems and the necessary surgical equipment. Three veterinarians, three caregivers and volunteers are assigned there. Treated animals can rehabilitate at their own pace and then be released.
