Geraint Thomas, winner of the Tour de France in 2018, has extended his contract with the Ineos-Grenadiers team for two years. This year, the 37-year-old Welshman finished 2nd in the Giro.

Thomas won the Tour de France in 2018. He has been riding with his current team since 2010. “Even if you should never say never, for me it’s my last contract”said the runner. “I would never have continued in another team”.

Its objective in 2024 will be to remain competitive. Thomas is open to everything: returning to the classics, aiming for the general of a grand tour or helping the young people. “I just want to have a positive impact on the group”said the winner of the 2021 Tour de Romandie.
