Georges-Louis Bouchez reacts to the reversal of Jean-Luc Crucke

Jean-Luc Crucke has turned his jacket around. As he was leaving for the Constitutional Court, the former finance minister of Wallonia announced that he was finally going to stay in politics. As announced by La Libre, its objective is to create a political “grouping” around the climate.

Present this morning at the microphone of Bel RTL, Georges-Louis Bouchez returned to this reversal of the situation. “I see that he has changed his mind”began the president of the MR. “It is not me who makes him say that he is stopping politics. He decides to change his mind, it is his freedom. I wish him the best in his task as a deputy.”

In this interview, Jean-Luc Crucke was also somewhat critical of its president. “It’s an open secret, Georges-Louis Bouchez and I disagree on a number of projects. Unfortunately, with him, form often kills substance. Words are dangerous”, he explained in particular. Words that did not seem to disturb “GLB”. “All these things don’t interest me much”he continued. “I have only one opponent: the unemployment rate in Wallonia. It’s the extremely difficult budgetary situation, etc (…) All these things agitate the small political world a little. But not me. He is one of our 20 deputies in the Parliament of Wallonia and I hope that, like all the others, he will be part of the group approach with effective work in the general interest Jean-Luc Crucke will have to be part of the group approach .”

After this reversal of the situation, who will take the place of Jean-Luc Crucke at the Constitutional Court? A question that annoyed Georges-Louis Bouchez. “We have ten minutes of interview. If you do 5 minutes on personal matters, I don’t think my neighbor will find your antenna interesting. She would like to know how she is going to pay her bills, how we are going to settle the taxes, etc. But it’s your right”he replied.
