George Russell of Mercedes F1 finished the free run on the first day of the 2022 F1 Round 3 Australian Grand Prix in 11th place.

“We’re not in the position we want. There are quite a few midfield cars in front of us and we’re clearly far from the front,” commented George Russell.
“I need to work hard tonight and understand the limits. In fact, I felt the car was okay. There was some pretty bad popping on Turn 9, but that’s something I have to deal with for the time being. thinking”
“I believe the car was the fastest set up on this truck, but it may not be, so tonight I’ll work hard to understand better.”
