George Clooney and Brad Pitt break silence on film pay – Life & Style

George Clooney has opened up about his and Wolfs co-star Brad Pitt’s salary for starring in the film.

Academy Award winner George Clooney addressed the press conference of the Venice Film Festival on Sunday. While speaking, the actor talked about “an interesting article” in the New York Times, which claimed that he and Brad Pitt were paid more than $35 million for the film.

“Whatever their source for our compensation was, it’s millions, hundreds of millions of dollars less than the reported figures,” Clooney explained.

“My only point of saying this is, I think if this is the standard of pay for films according to people, then it is bad for our industry,” he added.
