With a six out of six to start their campaign, the Limburgers temporarily take third place in the standings (30 points) while Antwerp remains fifth (26 points).

Dominating in the first quarter of an hour, Genk created multiple opportunities, including a corner from which Mujaid Sadick recovered a lost ball but whose point-blank shot was blocked by a defender. Antwerp (18th).
