This Friday, Genk formalized the arrival of Noah Adedeji-Sternberg (18). This young Belgian talent arrives from Borussia Mönchengladbach and has signed a contract until June 2026.
It is already the fourth recruit of the Limburgers since Joris Kayembe (Charleroi), Alieu = Fadera (Zulte-Waregem) and Christopher Bonsu Baah (Sarpsborg) have already come to reinforce the workforce of Wouter Vrancken.
As for Adedeji-Sternberg, he will prepare with the Genk first team and then evolve for a few months with Jong Genk in order to take his first steps in the world of professional football.
The Limburgers are delighted with this transfer: “Noah was at the top of our wish list for Jong Genk”, declared Stijn Haeldermans, the technical coordinator of the U23s. “He combines technical skills with a great game vision. He is a player capable of providing creativity in midfield.”
