Geneva Motor Show canceled again

Organizers said this was due to “uncertainties in the global economy and geopolitics”.

The Standing Committee of the Geneva International Motor Show has announced that the 2023 Geneva Motor Show would take place exclusively in Doha, Qatar. This means that the event which was to take place in Geneva in February 2023 has been cancelled.

« Due to the uncertainties of the global economy and geopolitics, as well as the risks associated with the development of the pandemic, the organizers have decided to focus exclusively on planning the event in Doha in 2023 said Maurice Turettini, President of the Foundation.

As confirmed in April, the 2023 Geneva Motor Show was scheduled to take place from February 14-19, 2023. Turettini said he did everything he could to organize the Geneva event which was to have an improved format. However, ” the risks outweighed the opportunities Turettini concluded.
