Geneva Banks Switching to Sustainable Construction: A Game-Changer in the Financial Sector

First Lombard Odier, then Edmond de Rothschild and, more recently, BNP Paribas: all have announced that they will be jumping ship from the center of Geneva. Not to mention Credit Suisse, which has already sold its building in Bel-Air. The main reason displayed for the first two, which might set an example for others: the choice of sustainability. They are turning to energy-efficient constructions, in line with the transition objectives that these banks support and in which they invest.

Ecological or economic decision? Economic respond real estate professionals: moving to the outskirts is much cheaper than what would cost buildings in the city center renovated to meet the specifications of the energy transition.
