Doha: As Qatar becomes the venue for the World Cup, the Generation Amazing School has concluded its activities to spread the word to the next generation.
Generation Amazing is one of the legacy plans for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. It was resumed following Kovid was subsequently suspended. The annual event concludes with the start of the school holidays. The event was organized in schools across the country in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
Delegates from 26 schools across the country attended the closing ceremony, which was held at the Qatar Foundation Multakha Ballroom in Education City. In addition to football training, sessions were organized to develop key skills such as leadership, communication skills, and teamwork. Issues such as gender inequality, climate change and cultural barriers were also presented in various sessions.
The program aims to enhance the well-being of children, families and the community through training, collaboration, creativity and recognition. The event is also being held in Oman and Jordan under Generation Amazing. He coached sports teachers from 26 schools across the country at the Generation Amazing Community Club in Lucille.
This includes government, international and Qatar Foundation schools. These teachers trained the students. Generation Amazing was started in 2010 by the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the regional organizers of the World Cup. In addition to Qatar, the project is being implemented in India, Jordan, Lebanon, Pakistan, the Philippines, Uganda, Oman, Nepal and Myanmar. Generation Amazing aims to create 10 lakh beneficiaries through the project by the end of 2022.
