Palestine – A general strike swept across the West Bank governorates on Sunday, in condemnation of the “Israeli army’s massacres in Gaza yesterday, Saturday,” according to Palestinian media.

In Bethlehem, the Factions Coordination Committee announced a general strike today, Sunday, in condemnation of the “occupation massacres in Khan Yunis and Al-Shati refugee camp” yesterday, Saturday, which claimed the lives of dozens of Palestinians and wounded a large number.

The Factions Coordination Committee added in a statement that the strike “includes all aspects of life, with the exception of hospitals, the health directorate, pharmaceutical factories, medical centers, pharmacies, bakeries, and gas stations.”

The strike also took place in the streets of Tulkarm city, denouncing the “Israeli occupation massacres in Gaza yesterday, Saturday.”

The city of Jenin declared a strike “in condemnation of the occupation’s massacres in Khan Yunis and Al-Shati refugee camp.”

He also announced a general strike via mosque loudspeakers in the city. Qalqilya “Mourning the martyrs of the Khan Yunis massacre.”

The Bar Association announced the suspension of work before all civil, military, administrative courts, settlement courts, and civil and military prosecution offices in all governorates, with the exception of “urgent requests, requests to extend detention, and release on bail, in condemnation of the ongoing massacres once morest our people.”

Yesterday followingnoon, Saturday, the Israeli army committed a massacre in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis (southern Gaza Strip), which claimed the lives of dozens of Palestinians and wounded a large number.

In the final tally announced by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening, it said, “The number of Palestinians killed in the massacre committed by the Israeli army in the Al-Mawasi area has risen to 90, and 300 others were injured.”

The ministry said in a statement that “the death toll from the occupation’s heinous massacre once morest citizens and displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis Governorate is 90 martyrs, half of whom are children and women.”

The ministry indicated that there were “critical and serious injuries.”

Palestinian media also reported that “the number of martyrs rose to 22 Palestinians as a result of the occupation’s bombing of a prayer hall in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, yesterday, Saturday.”
