The banking union announced a general strike in three entities for the last day before the elections.

It’s regarding the banks Santander Río, Galicia and Supervielle. The measure will be for 24 hours on Friday, October 20, to protest the closure of branches and the lack of staff, among other issues.

The reasons for the measure that the La Bancaria union chaired by Sergio Palazzo put forward are the closure of branches, the lack and reduction of personnel, non-compliance with Collective Agreement 18/75, outsourcing and unfair practices in the midst of joint negotiation.

In addition, they communicate that they made the corresponding complaint to the Ministry of Labor of the Nation.
