Geis Group takes over majority stake in Quehenberger

The takeover was announced in May, and the antitrust authorities also approved it yesterday. No purchase price was mentioned.

The two companies employ a total of 10,000 people and are also hoping for synergy effects from the step: Geis is very well positioned in terms of efficiency, quality and sustainability, Quehenberger in digitization and artificial intelligence, said Quehenberger co-owner Christian Fürstaller. In 2022, Geis generated sales of around 1.3 billion euros with 6,600 employees. 4050 employees at Quehenberger recently generated sales of around 700 million euros.
