A “Gears of War” collection is reportedly about to be released.
Already mentioned on multiple occasions in the past, the “Gears of War collection”, which would have undergone “complicated” development, could finally see the light of day soon if we are to believe the words of the leaker Middleagegamegy in his XNC podcast. The game would be finalized today. The collection would bring together the remasters of the first three episodes. The compilation would have been developed and finalized by the studio The Coalition, the studio behind Gears of War 4 and 5.
Rumor has it that the development of the Gears of War collection was initially entrusted to a Russian studio – Saber Interactive. The war between Russia and Ukraine would have led Microsoft to review its strategy in view of certain constraints and The Coalition would thus have been entrusted with its development. Which would explain the huge delay in the production of this “Gears of War collection”.
We also learn that the game is currently being tested internally and could therefore be released very quickly.
Remember that the first episode of the series had already received a remake on Xbox One and that the sixth part is currently in development at The Coalition.
