PSocial media has taken over the lines written by Palestinian writer Hiba Kamal Abu Nada on her Facebook timeline before she was killed in an Israeli attack in Gaza. “We are now in the high heavens, building a new city without the sick, without blood. Teachers who don’t yell or rush students, new families without pain and sorrow, reporters who depict heaven, poets who sing of eternal love, all hail from Gaza. All in heaven, now a new Gaza is forming; “Gaza without a blockade,” Hiba wrote on his timeline last.

The Palestinian Department of Culture released the details confirming Hiba’s death through the official website. Thirty-two-year-old Hiba was a writer who played a major role in promoting the cultural heritage of Palestine by writing stories, poems and novels.

Hiba was born in 1991 in Saudi Arabia. Hiba was a member of the family who fled to Saudi Arabia to escape the conflict in Palestine.

Education field was also chosen by Hiba Karmamandalam, who earned a degree in Biochemistry and demonstrated proficiency in educational rehabilitation. He has won many awards in creative literature. Awarded for best short story from hometown. The novel ‘Oxygen is not for the dead’ received a lot of attention in the Arab literary world and won the Sharjah Award for Arabic Literature.
