Rutgers University in New Jersey has rejected the demand of leading organizations of the Indian community that students should be prevented from hoisting the flag of Azad and Muttahida Kashmir during protests and demonstrations regarding Gaza.
According to a report by India Today, things are getting dangerous in many American universities as organizations related to the Indian community are putting up walls in the way of protests once morest Israel in view of the situation in Gaza.
It should be noted that white Americans are also prominent in the protests in favor of Gaza and once morest Israel, and Jewish students in many universities have also appeared to express solidarity with the people of Gaza.
Indian community organizations had demanded the administration of Rutgers University in New Jersey not to allow the flag of Azad Kashmir to be hoisted during the protest. The Vice-Chancellor of the University apologized for issuing any such order.
