Gaza – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced yesterday, Saturday, that the death toll from the Israeli war on the Strip had risen to “34,971 martyrs and 78,641 injuries” since October 7, 2023.
The ministry said, in its daily statistical report: “The Israeli occupation is committing 4 massacres once morest families in the Gaza Strip, including 28 martyrs and 69 injuries to hospitals during the past 24 hours.”
She added: “The toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 34,971 martyrs and 78,641 injuries since the seventh of last October.”
She pointed out that “there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.”
Meanwhile, yesterday, Saturday, the Israeli army simultaneously expanded its ground and air attacks in all Gaza governorates following demanding the displacement of the people of large areas in the northern Gaza Strip and downtown Rafah (south), and its incursion into southern Gaza City and east of Khan Yunis (south), in addition to carrying out a series of raids. Violent violence that resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Since last October 7, Israel has been waging a war on Gaza that has left regarding 113,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and nearly 10,000 missing amid massive destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of children and the elderly.
Israel continues the war despite the issuance of a resolution by the UN Security Council to stop the fighting immediately, and also despite the International Court of Justice demanding immediate measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
