Tel Aviv: The Minister of Health of the Palestinian Authority Mai Al-Kaila warned regarding the rapid spread of infectious diseases in the Gaza Strip. Mai al-Kaila added that this is the result of severe shortages of health personnel, equipment and medicines. There are 36 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, 14 of which are partially functional. She added that more than 1,100 medical personnel in the Gaza Strip were killed and wounded.

Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip, Israel released the bodies of 80 Palestinians in coordination with the Red Cross and the Palestinian Authority. They were in a state of decay beyond recognition. This is the third time the bodies of the Israeli army have been released for burial in the Gaza Strip. The first time was at Khan Younis of Nasser Hospital and the second time was at Rafah.

Hamas’s political chief reviewed the new truce proposal saying, “The priority is to end the brutal attack on Gaza and the complete withdrawal of the occupying forces.”
Israeli commandos disguised as medical staff and civilians shot dead three people at Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin in the occupied West Bank following they allegedly planned to carry out “terrorist” attacks. Several Palestinian civilians are reported to have been killed in Israeli attacks on residential homes in the Sabra and Tufa neighborhoods of Gaza City.
Since October 7, Israeli attacks on Gaza have killed 26,751 people and injured 65,636. The death toll in Israel from the October 7 Hamas attack is 1,139.
