Gaza: 200,000 Palestinians have been without food in Jabalia for 14 days

Gaza – The Gaza Civil Defense Service announced on Friday that 200,000 Palestinians have been trapped without food or drink for 14 days, and are subject to a process of genocide and ethnic cleansing carried out by the Israeli army in the northern Gaza Strip.

The agency’s spokesman, Mahmoud Basal, said in a statement to Anadolu Agency: “200,000 Palestinians in Jabalia are without food, drink, or medicine in light of the Israeli genocide for the 14th day in a row.”

He added: “The Israeli army is bombing and blowing up buildings, homes, and infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip governorate in light of the process of genocide and ethnic cleansing there.”

He continued: “Dozens of Palestinian martyrs killed by the Israeli army are still under the rubble and on the roads without the ability to recover them in light of the military operation and the army’s targeting of any moving object.”

In a related context, the Israeli army announced, on Friday, the addition of the “Givati” Brigade to the 162nd Division as part of expanding its military operation in the northern Gaza Strip.

For the fourteenth day, the Israeli army continues its war of extermination and starvation in the northern Gaza Strip, especially in the town of Jabalia and its camp, where it imposes a stifling siege and starvation, under continuous bloody bombardment and blowing up homes over the heads of their residents.

This is the third ground operation carried out by the Israeli army in Jabalia camp since the beginning of the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

The genocide committed by Israel, with American support, since October 7 has left more than 141,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly.

Tel Aviv continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
