The first semi-final of the VYV Cup was won by the Gauloise (Guadeloupe) once morest the Golden Lion (Martinique) this Saturday evening at the Edmard Lama stadium in Rémire Montjoly (Guyana).

The first half is rather in favor of the Gauloise de Basse-Terre. The Guadeloupeans suffer a bit at the start of the match but respect their coach’s instructions and go up a notch to dominate the Golden Lion in turn.
Observers note that Martinique’s Golden Lion seem less inspired than usual. “The accumulation of high-level matches for several weeks”, mentioned by their coach Thierry Sardo probably explains, in part, this observation in the Martinican camp.
