Gasoline distribution schedule from August 5 to 11

  • On Monday, August 5, it will be the turn of vehicles and motorcycles that end in license plates 1 and 2

This Monday, August 5, a new week begins under the subsidized gasoline distribution schedule. This scheme, created to ration the supply of fuel, has been in effect in Venezuela since June 2020.

This schedule establishes that gasoline is supplied according to the license plate number of the vehicles. In this sense, vehicle owners have a quota of 120 liters of fuel per month, while motorists are allowed to supply 60 liters.

At international service stations, which do not have the subsidy scheme, there is no limitation on the supply of gasoline, but its price is 0.5 dollars per liter.

Many gas stations are not operating due to protests in the country against the results issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE) that declared Nicolás Maduro the winner.

What are the payment methods for subsidized gasoline?

Subsidized gasoline is paid for only electronically, through the BiopagoPDV system. According to the Patria system blog, cash payment was eliminated to “optimize” the fuel marketing system and speed up service at stations.

These payments are made exclusively through the Patria System digital wallet. The user must have an available balance in the account and the minimum amount is 25.20 bolivars.

To deposit funds into the platform, you can transfer from your own account in a national bank to the Patria System or through the bonuses assigned to the wallet.

Check the available litres of gasoline

The subsidized fuel allocation system offers the possibility of checking the number of liters of gasoline that users can refuel before exhausting their monthly quota.

To check the remaining balance in the gasoline wallet, users must send a text message with the word BALANCE or GAS to the number 3777. After sending the text message, the user will automatically receive a text message with the requested information.
