Gas supply to Europe is technically possible, equipment repair still needed = Russia | Reuters

On the 25th, a spokesman for the Russian presidential office, Peskov, said that the gas turbine that was repaired following the inspection of the pipeline “Nordstream 1” that sends natural gas from Russia to Germany was re-installed, and then natural gas is technically possible. “A reasonable amount” will be supplied. [Moscow 25th Archyde.com]–Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian presidential office, said on the 25th that a gas turbine repaired following inspection of the pipeline “Nordstream 1” that sends natural gas from Russia to Germany was re-installed, and then natural gas. Said that it would be supplied in a “reasonable amount” that is technically possible. He did not state that the supply would increase, saying that further equipment repairs were needed.

Nord Stream 1 has entered a 10-day regular inspection this month. Conflicts over the invasion of Ukraine have raised concerns that supply may not resume following the inspection, but gas has been re-transported since last week. However, it is only regarding 40% of the transportation capacity.

“The turbine will be installed following all work is completed. The gas will be transported in the technically possible amount,” Peskoff said.

The turbine was repaired by Siemens Energy.

Mr Peskoff said there are other facilities in Nord Stream 1 that need to be repaired, and Siemens Energy is aware of that.

He also said he was not interested in stopping the gas supply to Europe altogether. Gazprom is not blamed for supply instability in Europe as European countries struggle to procure and stockpile gas for the winter, saying that Europe is suffering from the cost of sanctions imposed on Russia. I showed it once more.
