Korea National Oil Corporation (President Kim Dong-seop), through the weekly price trend of domestic petroleum products of Opinet, an oil price information system, reported that the selling price of gasoline at gas stations in the third week of August was 1,727.7 won per liter, up 32.7 won from the previous week, 1,588.3 won for diesel, up 62.3 won, It was announced that indoor kerosene recorded 1,339.7 won, up 13.5 won.

By brand, thrifty gas stations were low, but GS Caltex brand gas stations were high.

The average selling price of gasoline at thrifty gas stations was 1,690.6 won per liter, the lowest, but GS Caltex branded gas stations were 1,736.5 won, showing a difference of 45.9 won.

The average selling price of diesel at thrifty gas stations was low at 1,549.2 won per liter, but at GS Caltex branded gas stations it was 1,599.8 won, a difference of 50.6 won.

At SK Energy brand gas stations, gasoline rose 33.3 won to 1,736.1 won, diesel rose 63.3 won to 1,598.2 won, and S-OIL brand gas stations increased gasoline by 33.1 won to 1,730.3 won, and diesel rose 64.8 won to 1,587.3 won.
At HD Hyundai Oilbank branded gas stations, gasoline rose 32.8 won to 1,728.5 won, and diesel rose 61.2 won to 1,589.5 won. It showed a rise of 1,564.9 won.

Gasoline sales prices by region were 1,808.1 won per liter, up 32.6 won from the previous week, and 80.4 won higher than the national average.

Jeju-do sold gasoline at 1,755 won, recording the second highest selling price in the country following Seoul. , Ulsan 1,721 won, Busan 1,715 won, Jeonbuk 1,714 won, Daegu 1,713 won, Jeonnam 1,710 won, Gyeongnam 1,708 won.

The price of gasoline in Gwangju, the lowest-priced region, increased by 31.6 won from the previous week to 1,692.6 won, which was 35.2 won lower than the national average.

In the second week of August, which is one week later than the selling price at gas stations, the price of petroleum products supplied by refineries increased by 27.7 won to 1,614.1 won for gasoline, 106.6 won to 1,541.2 won for diesel, and 117.3 won for indoor kerosene to 1,199.4 won.

As for the supply price by refinery, HD Hyundai Oilbank (CEO Young-Min Joo), the highest priced oil refiner, increased by 26.1 won to 1,631.6 won, and diesel price increased by 91.0 won to 1,555.1 won.
