Gas prices are on an upward trend with the Middle East conflict – energate messenger Switzerland

Essen (energate) – After the significant price increases of the previous week, the upward trend in gas trading remained intact this week. The drivers are the uncertainties in the Middle East conflict. However, the good supply situation in Europe is having a dampening effect on the price increase. The day-ahead on the Dutch TTF was 38.58 euros/MWh last Friday. With an increase of almost one euro compared to the previous day, the price was already heading towards the annual high, which was 39.50 euros/MWh in August. …
