The Ministry of Health and Population announced that the ambulance service responded to a report of a gas leak, this followingnoon, Wednesday, inside the Smart Village, Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, Industrial Zone – Abu Rawash, Giza Governorate.
The Ministry explained in a statement today that immediately upon receiving the report, 15 ambulances were dispatched, which transported 19 injured people to Sheikh Zayed Central Hospital, of whom 11 patients were discharged following receiving treatment and their health condition improved, and 5 patients were transferred to Sheikh Zayed Specialist Hospital.
She explained that all cases suffer from symptoms of suffocation, and their general condition is stable and follow-up is underway.
