Garuda Indonesia President Director Wamildan Tsani Panjaitan opened up about the progress of the Airline Ticket Price Reduction Task Force. According to him, some time ago there was a decision from the Task Force.
He said that basically his party would support the government’s plan to reduce plane ticket prices. What kind of scheme will be announced directly by the government.
“We have come with action, we will support the president’s order to reduce ticket prices, if the scheme is presented later,” said Tsani at the BUMN Ministry Office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (19/11/2024).

Asked when the plane ticket reduction scheme would be implemented, he said it would probably be during the Christmas and New Year holidays. “Later in the Christmas period, we will convey the details later,” he said.
According to him, his party will definitely calculate carefully the impact of reducing ticket prices on Garuda’s financial condition.
“Of course we will arrange it, we will calculate it carefully,” explained Tsani.
On the other hand, Tsani said that his party would also hold a Garuda Travel Fair, an event to offer cheap tickets from Garuda Indonesia at Christmas and New Year.
“We will also hold a Garuda travel fair, on the 29th. We will have a travel fair at Istora on the 29th, maybe later please come and if you want to enjoy flights with Garuda, please come with lots of discounted ticket prices,” concluded Tsani.
