It’s Ruben Amorim’s turn.
The next Manchester United manager will take over a team that has shown signs of rebounding from Sunday’s 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Premier League, with Ruud van Nistelrooy‘s interim leadership having seen the side improve in all competitions. Four games unbeaten.
Amorim will officially take over the Sporting Lisbon position on Monday. The Portuguese arrives at a club that appears to be in a better position than when Erik ten Hag was sacked late last month.
This is largely down to Ruud Ruud van Nistelrooy, a former Ten Wizards assistant coach and an iconic striker during his time as a player at the club. The Dutchman has recorded three wins and one draw in four games. Sunday’s victory brings United one step closer to qualifying for the Champions League.
Bruno Fernandes, making his 250th appearance for the club, scored with a brilliant curling shot in the 17th minute at Old Trafford.
His shot in the 38th minute allowed Victor Kristiansen to deflect the ball past Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen to put United ahead before the break. doubled in size.
Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench and scored a more exciting goal than Fernandez in the 82nd minute. The Argentine forward nailed the ball into the top corner from outside the penalty area.

Surprisingly, third-ranked Nottingham Forest is 4 points ahead of Manchester United after losing 1-3 at home to Newcastle.
At halftime, thanks to a goal from Brazilian defender Murillo, the Forest team entered the intermission with a 1-0 lead. But Swedish forward Alexander Isak, Brazilian midfielder Joelinton and winger Harvey Barnes completed Newcastle’s comeback.
Ipswich won their first league win of the season, defeating Tottenham 2-1 away from home.
