Garmin has announced the launch of the new Instinct 2X Solar and Instinct 2X Tactical smartwatches.

The American company stated that the Instinct 2X Solar smart watch has an unlimited battery life thanks to the presence of solar cells, and the new Instinct 2X Tactical smart watch provides many useful functions, including a bright LED lamp.

The new Instinct 2X smart watch has a diameter of 50 mm, with relatively wide straps measuring 26 mm and a body made of fiber reinforced polymer and is water resistant up to 10 ATM.

The new smart watch is 14.5 mm thick and weighs no more than 67 grams and includes a 1.1-inch MiP screen with a resolution of 176 x 176 pixels, and colors cannot be displayed on it.

Garmin has integrated solar cells into the screen directly, and the smart watch does not need to be charged as long as it remains in bright daylight 50,000 lux for three hours a day, but if it is not exposed to daylight, the battery charge lasts 40 days in the event of normal use and 27 days when using Multi-band GPS or 60 days GPS exploration mode.

Garmin indicated that the built-in LED lights up in white or red, and the brightness can be set to 4 levels. The new smart watch supports the contactless payment function via the Garmin Pay function, and applications can be downloaded from the Connect IQ store.

The new smart watch provides many functions such as measuring heart rate, SpO2 sensor, tracking sleep characteristics and many sports applications.

The Instinct 2X Tactical version has many useful features such as night vision function; In stealth mode, GPS data is hidden and all wireless communications are cut off.
