Garmin has released a new solar smartwatch, the Instinct 2, this time the company says it will come with unlimited battery life.

Recently, the company has released a new smartwatch, the Instinct 2, which will come with unlimited battery life. The company said they were improving and developing new solar technology.
Of course, this smartwatch has unlimited battery life from frequent outdoor use, making it ideal for those who love outdoor activities and exercise.
The smartwatch measures 45 mm with a screen for notifications and health monitoring.
The company says you’ll be able to use the smartwatch unlimitedly outside in 50,000 lux lighting conditions for just 3 hours a day. Direct sunlight ranges from 32,000 to more than 100,000 lux, and indirect sunlight is anywhere from 10,000 to 25,000 lux, meaning you don’t need to reach out for direct sunlight. Instead, it takes several hours of being outside to recharge.
All of these Instinct 2 series smartwatches have impressive battery life. The company says the smartwatch can be used continuously for up to four weeks in smartwatch mode.
Of course, the new smartwatch will be available in two sizes, 45mm and 40mm, for those with relatively small wrists. In addition, the company also launched Surf, Tactical and Camo smartwatches, each with different features:
- Surf version is suitable for water sports enthusiasts. with the ability to provide users with information regarding currents and ocean conditions
- Tactical models are suitable for military personnel. That comes with many different modes such as stealth mode and night mode.
- The Camo model has similar features to the Tactical model, but with a camouflage design.
All smartwatches have scratch resistant glass. and manufactured to military standards to withstand heat and shock. It’s also water resistant to 100 meters and features period and pregnancy tracking. Sleep and stress tracking is also included.
Metrics features such as VO2 max, Fitness Age, and many more pre-installed fitness activities have also been added. It also helps gather insights into the user’s fitness and recovery.
The important thing is the feature to detect events that occur around the user. This allows the smart watch to instantly send your message, name and location to emergency contacts. It also supports Garmin Pay.
