Stamatis Gardelis is in detention. He announced his detention at the police station on Tuesday morning (27/2), by uploading a video to his Facebook profile.
The actor who some time ago was hospitalized at the First Psychiatric Clinic in Dafni, spoke to Giorgos Liagas’ show from the police station where he is detained.
Today I had a forest map objection review committee. I insist on saying that my plot of land is not a forest, the person next door who is a prosecutor is not a forest, and the other one who has a business on the beach is not a forest, but I am a forest. And they insist on it.”
“I’ve been wiped out, I’ve been pushed to the limit by these things. Better here in the detention center. I can’t calm down. Hold me, it’s not possible. You won’t shut me up with anything.
Fortunately, I also have a cell phone in here and I can talk. They have taken all my life, all my energy, all my money, and they are coming to take my house too. I have been pushed into the mental hospital,” he added.
Then Stamatis Gardelis noted: “I have come to owe 80 and 100 thousand to the tax office for overdue debts, for a plot of land that I took, bought, am paying and now they are already imprisoning me.
My file came to be examined and the president took it and says “No it will go to his turn”. Which series? I entered the mental hospital, I have lost my sleep. This story must be solved. I became suicidal.”
“He asked for my detention because I insisted on being tried today. I want to be tried, I’m not begging anyone. I don’t have lawyers either. I don’t have lawyers, I don’t need anyone to interpret the truth for me”, he emphasized.
Still, the actor said: “I’m in Egaleo now, at the police station and I’m waiting for the prosecutor’s decision. They also twisted my arm. Mercy that is, hit us from above. Who did I steal? Who have I wronged? I bought the plot. I stole it and they treat me like this?’
“Now they have to take my cell phone too. They’ll take my cell phone, you’re the last one I’m talking to now. I am in Aegaleo. Now they have to take my cell phone, maybe because I shouted,” he concluded.
