A 50-year-old died in an accident with a garbage truck on Wednesday in Neustadtl an der Donau (Amstetten district). According to the police, the local man pressed the press on the outside of the vehicle, whereupon the truck began to slide on sloping terrain. As a result, the vehicle left the road and overturned. The worker was trapped and fatally injured.
The garbage truck was driven by a 35-year-old from the Perg district in Upper Austria. The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. during disposal work near a farm. The driver left the vehicle in time and was uninjured.
