Thrissur ∙ Locals say that a 15-year-old man has shown prowess, including pulling out the eyes of chickens, by entering the house when his family was away. Locals said that the accused committed the attack while under the influence of ganja and the boy was seen in the verandah of the house.
The incident took place yesterday at 8 am at Chirayat Shaju’s house. The attack was carried out by digging out the soil in the fish tank, killing the fishes, gouging out the chicken’s eyes, breaking the nest and flying away the pigeons. Shaju and his family, who had gone to his wife’s house, came back after hearing the news from the neighbors and saw the horrific sight.
