Regarding Lee Kang-in of Mallorca, Spain, who was selected for the national team after a long time, coach Choi said, “I have to call. There are not one or two cases where such talented players cannot see the light of the future. When it comes to receiving the ball at the World Cup, there is no player as intimidating as Lee Kang-in. European coaches seem to be maximizing the strengths that players have.” Then, he joked, “When I was in the national team, there was a good midfielder named Yoon Jung-hwan, haha, because I was trying to match that XX mood.”
