This show is utopian. On the stage of Au dresseur de chapeau, everyone has their place, a voice, a chance to tell stories, play and sing. The handicap is as if outdated. And it is an extraordinary pleasure to see the ten actor-dancers of L’Au de l’Astre, the company that emerged from the Ateliers de la Glâne, in such self-sacrifice. The company’s latest creation was performed Friday and Saturday at Nuithonie, in front of packed houses. Friday evening, the public overwhelmed by the emotional charge of the show even ended up applauding standing.
