A total of 129 robberies were solved and 21 people were arrested, while the case file created includes a total of 48 people, 11 of whom are locked up in prisons.
The members of the gang, for the robberies they were committing, apparently published photos from their mobile phones. In the frames, some of those arrested can be seen posing for the camera holding gold chains or money. In other cases, they did not show off their weapons.
According to ELAS, among the robbers was also the young man who pulled the chain from the neck of a bather on the beach of Alimos last August while at the same time he was being recorded by a SKAI camera that was there for reporting, there were stations and subway trains, of ISAP and the Athens tram.
The investigation showed that the gang had been established since the beginning of 2024, with its members choosing mainly the “Syntagma”, “Viktoria” and “Monastiraki” stations, as well as the surrounding squares and streets where they approached their victims, from which they removed either by violently pulling or by using physical violence, the chain they wore around their necks.
As for the mondus operandi, the robbers used the methods like hugging, artificial crowding, etc. while it was established that during the commission of the robberies they followed strict counter-surveillance measures.
The ELAS announcement
From the Athens Security Sub-Directorate, a gang was dismantled, the members of which were carrying out robberies in various areas of Attica, using as “launching points” mainly stations and lines of the Athens Metro, ISAP and TRAM.
-21- members of the gang were arrested, of which -14- are minors, while a total of -48- were identified, of which -11- are locked up in Detention Shops. A case file was filed against them for – as the case may be – a gang that commits robberies committed or attempted, by profession and by habit, with the pursuit of financial gain and specifically the acquisition of income, violation of residence restrictions as well as violations of the laws on weapons and drugs.
It was preceded by an investigation in which it was found that since the beginning of 2024, the members of the gang were active in committing robberies and specifically in removing neck chains using physical violence.
In particular, it emerged that the defendants chose the Athens Metro, ISAP and TRAM stations and lines as their place of action, mainly those of “Syntagma”, “Victoria” and “Monastiraki”, as well as squares and streets surrounding them. Next, they approached their victims, from whom they removed either by violent pulling or by using physical violence, the chain they carried around their neck.
In fact, as it was established, during the commission of the robbery they observed strict counter-surveillance measures, while in several cases they also used various “anti-distraction” tricks, such as hugging, artificial crowding, etc.
So far, -129- cases of robberies and attempted robberies have been solved in areas of Athens, in Alimo, Piraeus, Kaisariani, Keratsini, Nea Smyrni, at ISAP and metro stations “Victoria”, “Attiki”, “Ampelokipoi”, “Agios Nikolaos” “, “Sepolia”, “Kato Patisia”, “Petralona”, “Syntagma”, “Airport”, “Kerameikos”, “Agios Eleftherios”, “Nicaea”, “Heraklion”, “Faliro”, “Municipal Theater”, ” Piraeus”, as well as Syntagma, Victoria, Vathis and Monastiraki squares.
In searches carried out in houses by the above Service with the assistance of OPKE police officers. and of the Colonos Security Department, were found and confiscated:
- -18- mobile phones, -4- telephone devices, -4- tablets, SIM card,
- neck chain,
- -3- knives, multitool, cutter,
- identity card, -5- passports,
- 655 euros,
- electronic scale, grater,
- electricity bills and
- nylon packaging containing possibly “Indian hemp” with a total gross weight of -0.4- grams.
It is noted that the majority of the defendants have in the past concerned the Authorities for similar crimes.
As part of investigating the case and deconstructing the gang, they were arrested for – as the case may be – various offences, such as possession of narcotics, knives, daggers, forged travel documents, etc. additional -13- people.
The arrested persons were taken to the competent public prosecutor’s office, while in addition, case files will be submitted for neglecting the supervision of the minor defendants, at the expense of both their parents and the competent appointed commissioners.

sdkiniterror: onesignal: this web push config can only be used on
It seems that you have pasted a snippet of JavaScript code that is handling various ad services and integrations such as Google AdSense, OneSignal, Disqus, Taboola/Project Agora, and others. However, the code appears to be incomplete, with several `asyncLoadScript` calls missing URLs and other necessary parameters.
Below is an overview of what your code is doing and how you might finalize it:
### 1. AdSense for Mobile
The initial part checks if there are mobile AdSense ads, and if not, removes them.
“`javascript
document.querySelectorAll(‘.adsense-for-mobile’).forEach(function(e) {
e.querySelector(‘.adsbygoogle’).remove();
});
“`
### 2. AdSense Slots
This checks for AdSense slots and potentially loads a script for them.
“`javascript
const adSenseSlots = document.querySelectorAll(‘.adsbygoogle’);
const adSenseSlotCount = adSenseSlots.length;
if (adSenseSlotCount > 0) {
adSenseSlots.forEach(function(e){
// Possibly load/adapt some scripts here
});
}
“`
### 3. OneSignal Initialization
This initializes OneSignal for push notifications.
“`javascript
window.OneSignalDeferred = window.OneSignalDeferred || [];
OneSignalDeferred.push(function(OneSignal) {
OneSignal.init({
appId: ”487cc53b-3b66-4f84-8803-3a3a133043ab”,
});
});
“`
### 4. Disqus Configuration
This sets up a Disqus configuration with a specific page identifier.
“`javascript
var disqus_config = function() {
this.page.url = “YOUR_PAGE_URL”; // Must provide the page URL
this.page.identifier = 1558723;
};
setTimeout(function(){
(function() {
var d = document,
s = d.createElement(‘script’);
s.src = “YOUR_DISQUS_SCRIPT_URL”; // Must provide the Disqus script URL
s.setAttribute(‘data-timestamp’, +new Date());
(d.head || d.body).appendChild(s);
})();
}, 3000);
“`
### 5. Asynchronous Script Loading
There are many places in your code where a function called `asyncLoadScript` and `asyncLoadModule` are called, but the URLs and scripts are missing. Typically, you would define these functions to append any required scripts dynamically, like so:
“`javascript
function asyncLoadScript(url) {
const script = document.createElement(“script”);
script.src = url;
script.async = true;
document.head.appendChild(script);
}
“`
### 6. Other Advertisements & Integrations
You have spots designated for various ad services like Phaistos Adman, Taboola, and others. Make sure to provide the required URLs or parameters for these calls.
“`javascript
// Example calls
asyncLoadScript(‘https://path/to/ad/script.js’);
“`
### Final Touch
Make sure to fill in the actual URLs for your asynchronous script loads, pay attention to the provided parameters, and complete any missing implementations.
### Reminder
– Ensure all scripts are loaded only if relevant content exists on the page.
– Test the site after integrating each ad service to ensure they don’t conflict with each other.
– Add error handling where necessary to manage any loading issues or script execution errors.
If you have specific parts you would like to focus on or need further assistance with, let me know!
