Games published by Xbox studios will not offer a CGI trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase!

This is the good news of this beginning of the week, Aaron Greenberg specified that the first party games of Xbox will not offer a trailer in CGI (computer-generated imagery). Indeed, according to him, there will only be in-game trailers, via the game engine or even cutscenes.

This only applies for First Party games!

None of our first party games in the show are full CG trailers. Everything is either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics. Each of our trailers will be labeled so it is hopefully clear for our fans.

No movies, only games!

Finally, Aaron also specifies that there will be no trailer for films, series, or other but only GAMES! So no trailer for Halo season 2 a priori.

Can confirm there will be no movie or TV show trailers in our games show.

No release promise “in the next 12 months”

Relatively frustrating and not held at all, the rule of games coming out in the next 12 months will not be this year’s strategy.
