Description of the internship

The Annecy production studio is looking for a Gameplay Programmer Intern F/H/NB to strengthen its team.

Under the responsibility of the Lead Gameplay Programmer, your missions will be as follows:

  • In collaboration with the design team, you participate in prototyping, development and iteration on game mechanics.
  • You are in charge of studying and proposing solutions on the AI ​​problems of non-player characters.
  • In interaction with all of the gameplay trades (game design, art, level design, animation, etc.), you ensure that the intentions and technical constraints (performance, reuse and reusability, etc.) are properly understood for the systems you implement.

Required profile

  • You are in the last year of engineering school or equivalent,
  • You have a good command of programming in C++,
  • You master mathematical tools related to 3D universes (geometry in space),
  • You have a first experience or a game project,
  • You are rigorous, reactive and have a good team spirit,
  • You are autonomous, organized, endowed with practical sense, you show great qualities of analysis and synthesis,
  • You combine a good sense of observation and listening, with real relational qualities
  • You have a good knowledge of video games
  • You have a good level in written and oral English
