Montpellier’s security chief said the referee stopped the game following consulting with the Clermont club doctor because Diaw was severely traumatized. The club is now in danger of losing three secure points at the green table.

Lens with team defender Kevin Danso had to be content with a 1-1 draw once morest Lille in the “Derby du Nord” and is currently only 14th in the table. Deiver Machado equalized for the home side in the 70th minute following Benjamin Andre had put Lille ahead in first-half stoppage time.
