Game Changers 2023 – The professional meeting for inclusive video games

Saturday October 28 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. – At Station 45, headquarters of the Novaxia group – 45 rue Saint-Charles 75015 Paris

For the third year in a row, the Afrogameuses association brings together video game actors and actresses with “Game Changers“, a unique meeting dedicated to inclusiveness in the JV, by and for professionals and students of the industry. On October 28 and a few days before Paris Games Week, members of the association and key players will take up residence at La Station 45, an innovative head office which hosts impact structures, supported by Novaxia, the leader in urban recycling (75015 Paris).

On the program, an followingnoon punctuated by inspiring speeches and round tables by personalities invested and committed to a more inclusive video game. For the first time, several workshops will be offered to combine reflections and practices. The event will also be an opportunity to present the very first Afrogameuses board of directors and the major issues of the coming months.

The multiple aspects of video games in a concentrate of conferences and workshops

The coming weeks will place the capital at the center of gaming culture and an entire evolving ecosystem. Afrogameuses also brings its commitment with the third edition of “Game Changers“, intended for (future) talents in the industry. The association’s approach is above all to highlight more diversified role models who provide additional insight into the challenges of video games, who will share their professional experience, while giving concrete advice for projecting yourself and finding your place in the ecosystem.

Pitching a video game idea, setting up your studio, professionalizing yourself in streaming, highlighting the diversity of Afro-Caribbean games, or even developing your professional network… so many topics that will be discussed, notably by recognized players from Ubisoft, XboX , Twin Drums or Plug In Digital.

Afrogameuses carries out various actions throughout the year to promote the professional integration of minorities in video games, through career coaching sessions with specialized recruiters and awareness-raising actions with studios and industry structures.
