Gambhir says that what is needed in the Indian team is to take the scumbags like Sanju and Rohit and throw them out.

Former opener Gautam Gambhir said that players who are capable of playing fearless cricket should be in the Indian team in the next T20 World Cup. Gambhir also said that the time has come to think regarding keeping Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli out of T20.

I don’t think Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be part of India’s plan for T20 World Cup 2024. If you ask me personally regarding the Indian team in the World Cup, there should be people who can play fearless cricket.

The team needs people like Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. Hardik Pandya is there. The team also needs the likes of Prithvi Shah, Rahul Tripathi and Sanju Samson.

Everything needs clarity. Communication between selectors and players should be good. If the selectors decide not to consider senior players then so be it. I think many countries have done this – Gautam Gambhir said.
