Ahead of the highly anticipated presentation of its Galaxy S24, it is on the tablet side that Samsung is making waves by announcing the release of the Galaxy Tab A9 and A9+, its new entry-level models, with the ambition of ‘offer advanced technologies to a wide audience. And the technical sheet seems to go in this direction.
With a weight of 332 g and an 8.7-inch screen for the Galaxy Tab A9, and 480 g for an 11-inch panel in its A9+ version, the Korean giant’s new tablets promise a feeling of lightness and good grip. hand. If the Galaxy Tab A9 offers a refresh rate of 60 Hz for its screen, the premium version can go up to 90 Hz and benefits from Dolby Atmos compatibility with four speakers, as well as 5G connectivity.
In terms of performance, these two tablets promise a clear improvement compared to the already very correct Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. With up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, Samsung highlights multitasking via the DeX functionality, which allows, among other things, to divide the screen into three. Useful if you want to do your research on the Internet and take notes, while streaming your favorite series.
The Galaxy Tab A9 has a 5100 mAh battery, combined with 15 W charging. The device is equipped with an 8 MP sensor on the back and a 2 MP selfie lens.
The A9+ version is powered by a 7040 mAh battery and while the main photo sensor remains the same, it benefits from a better 5 Mpx selfie lens.
Soon available in France
Already present on the manufacturer’s Moroccan site in three different colors (Graphite, Mystic Navy, Mystic Silver), they should quickly be available in France, Samsung having communicated to this effect. The Galaxy Tab A9 is currently priced from 1,990 DH, or around €180. The Galaxy Tab A9+, for its part, is sold for 3,490 DH, or approximately €315.
