Jakarta –
Even though there have been many leaks of the Galaxy S25 circulating in cyberspace, the launch date of this cellphone is still a mystery. However, information obtained by Android Police reveals little about when the successor to the Galaxy S24 was announced.
Samsung recently sent out a survey in Vietnamese to gauge interest in a promotional offer for the Galaxy S 2025. An X user shared a screenshot of the survey which shows a number of interesting details.
The survey did not mention the name of the phone, but anyone who completes the survey will receive a 10% discount on January 5, 2025. Many suspect the product mentioned in the survey is the Galaxy S25.
But what makes you doubt it is that January 5 2025 is a Sunday. Samsung usually announces its new smartphones on weekdays.
If this is true, it means that Samsung will advance the Galaxy S25 launch event. Previously, the Galaxy S24 was launched on January 31, 2024, while the Galaxy S23 debuted on February 17, 2023.
Previously, it was reported that tipster Ice Universe revealed the presence of the Galaxy S25 Slim which will be equipped with an ‘Ultra’ camera. However, he did not explain what he meant by Ultra camera.
At first glance, this leak indicates that the camera specifications of the Galaxy S25 Slim will be the same as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This may be difficult to achieve because the Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to have a very thin design and may not be able to accommodate a camera sensor that is too large.
Due to space limitations, perhaps the Galaxy S25 Slim will only adopt the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s main camera, which still seems to use a 200 MP sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will reportedly have a 200 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

The Elusive Galaxy S25: Will It Ever See the Light of Day?
Hold onto your hats, folks! In a classic case of tech suspense, Samsung is keeping us on the edge of our seats with rumors of the Galaxy S25. Late-breaking revelations from Android Police suggest that, while we have a plethora of leaks swirling through cyberspace, the exact launch date remains as clear as mud. You’d think we were waiting for the next season of a reality show rather than a mobile phone release!
In a cheeky turn of events, Samsung decided to send out a survey in Vietnam, luring hopeful consumers with the promise of a 10% discount on a mysterious product if they complete the survey. Many are raising an eyebrow, smirking at the suggestion that this “mystery” item might just be the Galaxy S25. Because clearly, when you want to keep something under wraps, the logical approach is to send nationwide surveys. Bravo, Samsung! Bravo!
January 5, 2025: A Sunday Frenzy?
Now, here’s where it gets interesting—or confusing, depending on how much coffee you’ve had. January 5, 2025, is a Sunday. Yes, you heard that right—a Sunday! It’s almost as if Samsung wanted to throw all conventions out the window. What’s next? Releasing a phone on a leap year or during a solar eclipse? Historical scrutiny reveals that Samsung tends to launch its smartphones during the workweek. This Sunday launch could potentially advance the Galaxy S25’s rollout, leaving fans in a tizzy.
Last year, the Galaxy S24 gallantly saw the light of day on January 31, and the Galaxy S23 graced us with its presence on February 17. So why the sudden urge to launch on a weekend? Perhaps they want to ensure fans have plenty of time to recover from post-launch excitement—or perhaps it’s just more effective marketing to tempt folks on their day off. Who doesn’t love shopping for the latest tech while nursing a hangover?
Galaxy S25 Slim: The Sleek Surprise?
Meanwhile, rumor mills are churning again thanks to tipster Ice Universe, who tantalizingly hinted at the existence of a Galaxy S25 Slim. This beauty is purportedly packing an ‘Ultra’ camera, whatever that means. I mean, after a while, how many ways can you describe a phone camera? I half-expect to read about a Galaxy S25 “Absolutely Fabulous” camera next!
But here’s the twist: making a slim phone with an Ultra camera? That might be more challenging than finding a parking spot at a shopping mall during the holidays! The combination of thin design and high-tech camera specs led many to think that ‘Slim’ will just borrow the main camera from its fancier sibling, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Who knew that “Slim” and “Ultra” could coexist in such a paradoxical pizza-slice kind of way?
Camera Specs that Make You Go ‘Wow’!
Reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will sport a staggering 200MP main camera with OIS—Optical Image Stabilization, for those who didn’t earn their degree in tech jargon. It will also feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom, and another 50MP telephoto camera boasting a 5x zoom. Now, that’s a camera array that would make any photographer’s heart skip a beat! It’s almost enough to convince you to take up photography… or at least, snap relentless selfies.
The mere thought of it is enough to make one ponder—will the Galaxy S25 continue the trend of mad-cap tech advancements, or will it just be more of the same, with a shiny new name? Either way, I’m aching to see how this all resolves itself. Until then, let’s stock up on coffee and guess what weird day Samsung will shock us with the launch news!
Jakarta –
Despite the numerous leaks surrounding the upcoming Galaxy S25 circulating widely on the internet, the exact launch date of this highly anticipated smartphone remains elusive. However, a recent scoop from Android Police sheds some light on the possible timing for the announcement of the Galaxy S25, the successor to the Galaxy S24.
Samsung has reportedly distributed a survey targeted at Vietnamese consumers to assess interest in a potential promotional offer for the Galaxy S 2025 series. An insightful user on X shared a screenshot of this survey, revealing several intriguing details about the potential new device.
The survey intriguingly refrained from directly mentioning the name of the smartphone; however, participants who complete the survey will be rewarded with a 10% discount on purchases made on January 5, 2025. This has led many tech enthusiasts to speculate that the product in question could very well be the highly anticipated Galaxy S25.
However, doubts linger as January 5, 2025, falls on a Sunday, a day when Samsung typically shies away from announcing new smartphones, usually opting for weekdays instead. If this speculation holds true, it would indicate that Samsung is considering an earlier launch for the Galaxy S25 compared to its previous releases, such as the Galaxy S24, which was unveiled on January 31, 2024, and the Galaxy S23 that made its debut on February 17, 2023.
Adding to the buzz, renowned tipster Ice Universe hinted at the impending introduction of the Galaxy S25 Slim, suggesting it may feature an ‘Ultra’ camera setup. However, specific details regarding what constitutes an ‘Ultra’ camera remain unclarified.
Initial reports imply that the camera specifications featured in the Galaxy S25 Slim could mirror those of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, achieving this might pose challenges, considering the Galaxy S25 Slim is rumored to sport a very sleek design, potentially limiting the space for accommodating a larger camera sensor.
Due to these constraints, it is speculated that the Galaxy S25 Slim might incorporate only the main camera found in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is anticipated to utilize a 200 MP sensor. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is set to boast an impressive camera configuration, including a 200 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 MP ultrawide camera, a 10 MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom, and a remarkable 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

**Interview with Tech Analyst Sarah Lee on the Upcoming Galaxy S25**
**Editor:** Welcome to our show, Sarah! There’s been buzz about the Galaxy S25, but the launch date remains unclear. What can you tell us about the current situation?
**Sarah Lee:** Thanks for having me! Yes, the Galaxy S25 is creating quite a stir in the tech community. There have been numerous leaks, but Samsung is playing its cards close to the vest when it comes to the official launch date. Recent information from Android Police suggests that a survey was sent out to Vietnamese consumers, potentially gauging interest for a promotional offer related to this new device.
**Editor:** Interesting! What are some highlights from that survey?
**Sarah Lee:** The survey hinted at a 10% discount for participants if they complete it. While the name of the phone wasn’t explicitly mentioned, many believe this is related to the Galaxy S25 due to the timing and context. A particularly compelling detail is that the survey mentions a discount effective on January 5, 2025, which, as it happens, is a Sunday!
**Editor:** A Sunday launch? That’s quite unusual for Samsung. Typically, they announce new products during the week. What do you think this indicates?
**Sarah Lee:** Absolutely! Samsung’s pattern has usually been to launch on weekdays, so this Sunday date raises eyebrows. Perhaps they’re trying out a new strategy? It’s possible they want to capture consumer interest when people are not at work, or it might simply be an error in scheduling. If this indeed is the launch date, it would be earlier than previous releases—it could signal a more aggressive marketing approach.
**Editor:** And what of the Galaxy S25 Slim? What can you tell us about its specs?
**Sarah Lee:** The Galaxy S25 Slim is stirring excitement as well. Rumors say it will feature an ‘Ultra’ camera, but the exact specifications remain vague. People are speculating that it may only have the main camera borrowed from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is supposedly equipped with a 200 MP sensor. Balancing a slim design with high camera specs is certainly a design challenge for Samsung, which is why many are doubtful about how well they can execute this.
**Editor:** It seems like they’re packing some serious tech into this device! What can we expect from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s camera features?
**Sarah Lee:** According to reports, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will boast an impressive camera setup: a 200 MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, a 10 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and another 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. This level of camera technology is aimed at appealing to photographers and mobile enthusiasts alike. It’s all about pushing the boundaries of smartphone photography.
**Editor:** Exciting times ahead for tech lovers! Any final thoughts on what we might see from Samsung with the S25?
**Sarah Lee:** The anticipation is palpable! If Samsung manages to balance innovative features with design, we could be looking at a significant upgrade in their smartphone lineup. Until an official announcement, we’ll just be here speculating and waiting.
**Editor:** Thank you, Sarah, for shedding light on this mystery! We’ll certainly keep our eyes peeled for more updates on the Galaxy S25.
**Sarah Lee:** Thank you for having me!
