In a post shared last weekend, leaker Ice Universe urged consumers in the United States to open a class action once morest Samsung for alleged “defects” in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Although Samsung has fixed some problems through software updates, the well-known leaker believes that the company still needs to resolve other bugs present in the high-end smartphone.
He cites as examples the screen with color grain at low brightness, the cameras recording inaccurate colors and the telephoto sensor (5x zoom) with hardware problems, causing photos to have “overexposure” on white or light objects.
Ice Universe also complains regarding a supposed “design defect” in the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s bottom speaker and says that some units have the S Pen slot crooked.
For him, Samsung is not recognizing or correcting the problems because it has become “arrogant” due to good sales numbers, especially in the United States. Therefore, the leaker advises consumers in the country to sue the Korean brand.
However, some problems already fixed by Samsung include color saturation on the screen and overexposure of white objects when zoomed.
Therefore, it would be unlikely that a collective action once morest the company would be successful. So far, Samsung has not commented on the matter, but the space is open for the company to comment.
